Laurie – Black Bart

Arriving at this double lot with a grand house and guest house was breath-taking.  This was a perfect place to bring a whole bridal party. No hotels or motels, just bring in your suitcase and relax.

We entered to the guest house to find the bridal party, ten of them, plus the Mom’s having brunch.  We went into the master suite which had a grand sitting area in front of a huge picture window looking out over a meadow.  It had plenty of room for our team to set up our styling area giving us ample room to pamper the whole group. While we created chignon magic, the girls started reminiscing about childhood memories, stories of high school days and laughing about college pranks and odd professors.  The hair styles we created that day came out so beautiful due to the fun and stress free atmosphere.  During our adventures, the photographer arrived and started taking photos to capture all the memories. The bride had been hoping for snow and it started falling as he arrived. So, some of the pictures captured the festivities indoors as well as the beauty of Tahoe in winter. It all went so smoothly that we finished nearly forty-five minutes ahead of schedule. Yet we had so much fun it seemed to go by even faster.  We had so much fun together that the bride insisted that we come by Edgewood. We promised that we would try to stop by and apparently timed it perfectly. We walked onto the terrace just as the ceremony was concluding and watched through the picture window as the bride and groom said their “I do’s “.
