Linda LaFavor-Coyle

Linda  is a cosmetologist and makeup artist with over 26 yrs of experience in the cosmetics industry. Professionally trained in all aspects of makeup at Joe Blasco School in Hollywood, CA, she worked on TV and film projects, doing quite a few actresses makeup.

Moving back to Minneapolis her home town, for a year, she was the makeup artist for many TV commercials and photo shoots, including ads for the Target corporation.

In beautiful Lake Tahoe for 20 years now, Linda does makeup for a variety of clients. From weddings styles to photo shoots, Linda's makeup has two goals; make you feel beutiful and make the pictures of you look beautiful.

Harrahs and Harveys casinos have hired Linda to teach makeup sessions for their corporate offices and cocktail waitresses.  Also being a skincare specialist, she educates women on proper skincare and the perfect makeup look for their lifestyle in her home studio.

Linda also enjoys treating women to “mini” spa treatments. She can pamper the girls the day before the wedding and help relax the bride while she is getting her hair & makeup done on her wedding day! An exfoliating lip treatment, followed by a nourishing  botanical lip balm is the very favorite, which everyone in the wedding party is treated to.

 

Artistically, Linda is well known for her beautiful, clean flawless style, which gives her brides a glowing radiance that seems to come from within. A brides personal style and personality will reflect her makeup look.  See the bride’s natural beauty, not the makeup.

Linda has a very broadly based understanding of cosmetics and uses BC color. Makeup colors and application techniques must be selected with the knowledge of how it will appear in photographs.

BC color is a dermatological grade of skin-smoothing minerals and pure pigments.  No animal testing. Products contain no parabens, alcohol, talc, fillers or fragrance.

Foundations feel weightless, have natural-looking coverage that lasts all day, contains a broad spectrum sun protection which is important in sunny Lake Tahoe.

Linda will also apply a Bride's favorite makeup product if it is a professional cosmetic.

Andrea Sorrentino

Andrea has been around the hair industry all her life. Her mother was a stylist since before Andrea was born and owned her own salon in Moraga, Ca. Andrea helped her mom with hair and costume design and modeled in competitions for the California Cosmetology Association for many years before starting her own training. That training began in Hamburg, Germany at Salon Dieter Baughmann in 1975 and then advanced to the prestigeous Michael Moro Academy of Hair Design in Glendale, Ca. Mr Moro recognized Andrea's talents and soon had her teaching advanced hair cutting techniques. She then went on to train under Jerry Redding, Paul Mitchell, Schwartzkopf and Farouk. The latter was responsible for Andrea's title of "Flat Iron Wizard". She currently a stylist at Hot Locks Hair Salon in South Lake Tahoe, California specializing in all facets of hair design. Due to health concerns, Andrea has now become an expert in low impact, low and no ammonia colors, which not only benefits her, but also the client's health.

The Team

Tahoe Weddings A-Gogo's team of hair and makeup artists consists of several other stylists who pitch in when needed for large wedding parties. All of these team members have been trained extensively in the art by Linda and Andrea. The TWAGG team has the combined experience of over 90 years in the industry.
